Buff Polishing, Where Craftsmanship Lives

Buff polishing is a finishing process in which metal surfaces are polished with buffing wheels, giving them smoothness and a beautiful luster. At Narita Manufacturing, we optimize abrasives, rotation speed, and pressure according to the properties of aluminum and other metals, achieving surface quality suited to each application.

This process — smoothing out minute scratches, machining marks, and weld traces to enhance exterior quality and feel — depends on the touch and experience of skilled craftsmen for its finish.

While the number of plants in Japan that can reliably provide such craftsmanship decreases year by year, it is to be noted that this quality supports the aesthetics and reliability demanded of public transportation, as seen in the number plates of Meitetsu trains, among other applications.
